There are two possibilities.
We’ll die.
Or we’ll be raptured.
And at the rapture, some will be Untaken.
Constance Wyler has thought a lot about this.
Questions arose: What if it happens now while we’re talking? Would we both go? Or would one of us stay?
What if, while you’re listening to this podcast, the trumpet sounds?
Are you in your car? Taking a walk? On a cruise? Driving a bus?
What if a woman is pregnant? Does the fetus get raptured?
Will we leave our implants behind? We won’t need them in heaven.
The rapture could happen at any time.
Matthew 24:42 says to watch therefore, for you do not know when the hour of your Lord doth come.
So we need to be ready all the time. This is our hope. This is what we want. This is what we need.
In my book, I try to draw connections with the reader.
Sarah is far from God, so she's completely anti God. Her husband is a Christian, but not really. He's starting to see things, you know, starting to come around back to the word. And his aunt is completely over the top. So again, you have lots of different characters that you can relate to as a reader, Christian or not. This aunt is driving me crazy. She's so preachy, she's so legalistic. Then you have a husband, that's okay, I'm a Christian. And then you have Sarah, who's not. So I tried to draw connection with the reader to see, oh, I know someone like that.
Matthew 24:13. Keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
